All a matter of taste, m8. There are some pix of white bikes with blue rim tape on the site that look good, but personally, I'd stick with matching the colour of the bike.

 

Another option would be to polish up the rims leaving the rest of the wheels black-could be a tricky job though....

i had the rim edges polished on one of my hornets (black one)

it looked the business, thinking on having it done to CB1R mine is silver.

Rim stickers do a chrome tape if thats any use.

can anyone help me im looking for a lighter shade of blue rim tape as i have blue bar ends and engine bolts all matching the blue that is on the top of the forks but still cant find the tape to match.

if there is no tape like that can anyone tell me of a place to send my wheels to get polished up, i live in east anglia if thats any help this is my backup thx for your points.

Answered my wheel rim tape question by sticking silver tape onto my silver CB1. Opinions please.

The rim tape i got off ebay stick's like s**t to a shovel i think you would need a hammer an chisel to get it off :thumbup

 

I placed rim tape like this on my previous bike and power-washed it almost every week. Never came off. Although you gotta place it perfect, no grease, no fhilth,....
