The time has come for me to purchase a yoshi for my bike, i want it to look just like all the other bikes on here.

But through my research of this forum, lots of talk about prices and UK/US bought, but nothing about the companies that were used.

I also see alot were purchased from US ebay, and im just wondering if thats the easiest way, as i will have more buyer protection from that system.

i found this site, 2013 Honda CB1000R Yoshimura R-77D Dual Outlet Slip-On Exhaust - Carbon Fiber | MotoSport United Kingdom

But not much on the webs about it, or if they are any good!

Also, i want a second gen, after reading they sit higher up, but i have no idea how to tell the difference, or can you no longer buy the original ones?

So yes please to any help spending my money on a yoshi, i want the D version too, as i think i like the twin outlet more!

That looks like a great price ÂŁ389.93 if it includes delivery and import tax for the full carbon one. Getgeared Leeds said they could get one for ÂŁ580 less 10% so massive saving from the US. Hopefully I will be on the look out for one soon so ill watch this post closely. Ash

Thanks a lot for the link, I've been split between Devil and yoshi and finally took the leap and ordered today the yoshimura :)
Been looking for that 20% link for 2 hours (I remember seeing the link a few months back) total price with shiping will be 435 € if customs do retain the box its going to be an additional 23% tax:(
Thanks again DELuth :thumbup

All these people on here with this exhaust, and this little amount of useful replies... Sad face. I think im going to take my chance with an American ebay place.

I've only just seen this thread otherwise I would of posted sooner..
I bought mine from Surfsidemoto in California,USA..They were great to deal with and had the best price at the time too..Also the Aussie dollar was higher than the American dollar at the time too,so I got a really good price..
I chose the R-77 instead of the D version so that i have an option of loud or louder..With the D version you are stuck with one option..
I was lucky when I received mine that it was the updated version because I didn't even know there was the upgrade..I started a thread on the new improved version which included a few pics showing the difference in bracket heights between the old and the new..

Total customs value (CIF):ÂŁ386.33
This is the amount that customs values your import at
- Duty:ÂŁ14.29
- VAT:ÂŁ80.12
Total import duty & taxes due:ÂŁ94.42
This is the amount that needs to be paid to customs
Total landed cost:ÂŁ480.74
This is the total cost of importing, including product, shipping, insurance and import duty & taxes
at exchange rate of 1 GBP = 1.67 USD
Does this figure look about right what you expect to pay in total.

Thanks

Hi Ash, i was aiming for sub ÂŁ500 total cost once its on the bike.

My local motorbike shop that can get things like this, wanted ÂŁ686 for the system, so im aiming to beat that by 200 quid ideally.

Will update this with my findings when it arrives, im expecting it early next week perhaps, but im so excited i want it yesterday!

So, to update, because im slack.

I ordered the exhaust from these guys,

11-13 Honda CB1000R Yoshimura R-77D 3/4 Exhaust System - Carbon Fiber 1210043220 | eBay

It took 12 days to get to the UK, and a further 9 days sat in customs once it arrived in the UK, great to see they are efficient our end of the world.

My total import charge was ÂŁ28, and ÂŁ8 was a 'handling fee' put on by Parcel Farce.

Well happy with the can, packaged really well, fits perfect and sounds tits. Its just a shame im still under my first service so taking it easy still. It runs and rides ok without a power commander, but im deffo gonna invest in the PC to get it running perfect again.

Two little pics.

So my total spend was ÂŁ397 for the system and ÂŁ28 for the import charges, bringing me to ÂŁ425.

Got mine from my local garage they quoted ÂŁ590 but I managed to get 10% off this price.

Ash
I'd say you received 10% off because this style of mounting is the first version they made..The pipe sits a little lower with this type and is more prone to scraping the ground when leaning the bike over..May not be an issue for you Ash but for some riders it was an issue..
Yoshi have released and second version over a year ago..
