Not sure how many would sign up to a group buy,,,, a high proportion of members have already bought an after market can of one sort or another. :notme

A bulk order? For what? It's not designed for the CB1000R, and lets not forget that the 2008/9 CBR1000RR has a completely different engine, never mind the rest of it, so it won't fit. It would require jerry-rigging to the bike, and that ain't gonna happen in bulk, now is it?

Personally I don't like it though; looks too heavy. Not saying it 'is' heavy, just that it looks heavy

I know our bike has the 998cm3 based on 2007 CBR1000RR Fireblade...but they had a solution also for the 2004-07 Honda CBR1000R....soo they made a study of our engine! :thumbup

The CB1000R engine is so loosely based on the original 'Blade engine that it's practically completely different. The head is different, and therefore the ports. The power range is different, the injectors, everything. The engine won't even be at the same angle (most likely) so no exhaust from any 'Blade will be any use without modification.

Hi
See the update from Taylormade below.
Summary: Nothing designed yet as they don't get the CB1R in the US and also it's not homologated for street use
:cry
Cheers
Rob

Hi guys -

Thank you all for your interest in Taylormade.

I like the render very much, and I have sent it to our designer for his thoughts.

I would love to make a kit for your bikes, but we don't have them here in the US, which makes it difficult to develop a product that will fit without problems. Another thing is that our cans are not homologated for street use.

I have sent your suggestions to our italian dealer, Max, at Unionbike. We will try and figure out a way to make your bikes look as good as the photo.

Regards,

Elana Scherr

I saw the exhaust for cbr1000r on your site and I like it very much, do U think it's possible to do the same or a similar one for my moto?

I'm owner of a site...www.manzoteam.net and we have a forum with a lot of visitors, we are really interested.

Last question, what kind of european's law does your exhaust respect?

Thank U...and CIAO from Italy!
