Not OP, but I used fishing line to "saw" through the VHB tape holding it on.
If the VHB tape is really hard, some heat would probably help, but I personally would only use a hairdryer (not heatgun) on my paint. Especially with the shitty paint Honda is using.
I hate those badges on the bike, but they make excellent fridge magnets. Just JB Weld some HDD magnets on the back of them. That was my first mod. Honda fridge magnets.
