May is what I heard too.... and I'll be pressing the Honda guys at the Excel show to see if they know.

Strangely I was chatting to a 900 Hornet owner on MSN later (he is also set on buying one)...he has a friend that runs a dealership and reckons they were going to have one on Friday!!!!! He said it may be a wind up.... but you never know!

He'll be signing up so hopefully will keep us posted as well.

May seems to be the month, would be surprised if it's any later than that as it's when people are getting back into the 'biking season' and looking about for a new one. High demand and short supply may be looming though :notme

I've been told April/May by the time they're on the road, just because they can't get them here any quicker, not because they want to. Officially it's available now I gather, you just couldn't pick one up yet. :(

I've heard they are on sale in Italy already! I dont know for sure it its true or not, but I will stop at the Honda Dealer and check next time I am in Milan. I will most likely be there the first week of February.

I keep a Gilera Runner at my Lago Majorie house and it seems like every second time I take it out something goes south or breaks.
It only has a bit over 5000 km on the clock. I hope Honda does a better job of screwin things together than Piagio.

I had a 1999 two stroke 180cc Gilera Runner.... quick little thing but not very reliable... worst time was on a dual carraigeway with my nephew on the back.... the CVT belt snapped... clogging the gearing and then locking the back wheel dead!!!!!
Travelling at about 60 at the time we skidded for what seemed like 100 metres, weaving all over the place as we slowed - luckily I didn't drop it and their was a healthy distance between us and the traffic behind...... it was a scary moment though.

You realise Honda build quite a few bikes in Italy right? Including the Hornet? :thumbup
No!

Next you will be telling us that they are not using illegal Bulgarian and Romanian immigrants to screw the things together!

A runner when it is "runnin", is hard to beat around town!

Looking at their website, they don't appear to be a solus dealer? Could this have anything to do with it, or is the website misleading? Seems whether you pick Yam, Suzuki or Honda, the dealer location is the same address for each.
