IMO the best looking end can shown, by far, is the IXIL IXRACE

Nice and short, weighs less than 1 kilogram (way less than any of the others) and shows off all of the rear wheel. Like the mesh over the end.

The stainless steel looks really good.

Trouble is I can't decide if stainless or the black goes best on my black NSC. What do you guys think ?

I also like the IXRACE, the MK2 in silver and also the M9 in black. However, don't know anything about their quality (French manufacturing) and the sound.

I have to agree, the IXRACE MK2 in black accompanied with an aftermarket header to remove that awful Cat will look superb I think.

It seems that with the original headers that pretty much any can with the correct inlet dimension can be fitted. The thing that puts me off them is all the highly polished straps and link pipes. The aesthetic of chrome and polished surfaces looks cheap in comparison the rest of the bike

That can, in common with just about everything else except for IXIL IXRACE MK2, is far too long.

The Akropovic offering is so ridiculously large and long, you might as well stick with the Honda original.

An exhaust can on a bike like the NSC should not block the view of the rear wheel or tyre in any way.
Unfortunately the IXIL IXRACE MK 2 still blocks the view of the tyre (it's end being level with the wheel), which for me is a compromise, but in the absence of anything shorter the only way to go.

Perhaps you could photoshop the size of can you are thinking of? (use the pic at bottom?)

Sounds like what you may want, is the exhaust to go on the left hand side of the bike, not the right hand side...

Then again, this Arrow special barely covers the tyre 😉

I now ordered the IXIL IXRACE MK2 in silver. Swiss Homologation, Look, Weight and Price were the criteria in favour of this slip-on. I will report on the installation, the quality and the sound.
Cheers

I look forward to reading your thoughts on, and seeing your photos of this exhaust, as it is the only one I've seen so far that I would buy.
