Hi all,

The 16k mile service is coming and I am thinking of sending the bike to an independent (I've known them for a while and they worked on my Italian stuff). I had them plug in the OBD plug and they said they didnt have the option to reset the service light. Afterwards, I went home and read the manual and it appears that I can reset the "Service Reminder" myself. Can anyone confirm that this is the service light? or is it neccesary to take it to a dealer to have the service light reset? Thanks.

Kind Regards

Glen

I don't see a service light. So like on the SC77, you have the option of setting service reminders. Refer to page 59.

The service light comes on each time you start the engine to remind you of it. You can flick the joy stick button right to turn it off. It will again come on, when you turn the ignition off & then on again & you can do it again.
Alternatively you can reset it or set a different time line or kms/mph that you want the reminder at again. If you set X days or X kms/mph , you will get that service light on again . It is a count down to X days or X kms/mph reached from the day you set it.
