Its a 2013 cb1000r and im wondering if it would be to much trouble to run a steel braided brake line from the master cylinder along the single sided swing arm and onto the caliper in my head it works fine if i can route it nicely,I think id prefer this over the rigid car style line it has now

Very doable. It would look better, sure, but nothing else to gain. Nothing flexes less or is more reliable than the OEM tubing.

Spiegler makes a nice kit for it, but I think it might reuse the hard line, not sure. I only did the front brake and clutch on mine. They do custom lines, too. I'm sure they can make you a rear line to whatever specs you want.

If you do replace it, make sure to upload a pic for us!
