Sorry if this has been asked before I did a search and didnt find what I was looking for so here it goes.

The rear tire that comes with the CB looks tiny for the bike, was thinking of putting a 190/55 just to give it the wider look, the guy at the big bike store said it will mess with the handling that the bike performs better in the turns with the 180/55. My bike is new so I am not planning on changing the tires until they are getting down on thread just want to know which way to go when its time to do the tires.

180. 190 WILL mess with the handling. The tyre will be squeezed onto the rim, making the profile have a smaller curve radius, and resulting in a smaller contact area on the road.

having said that i used to run my cbr600 with a wider rear tyre and felt like it turned faster.

190/65-16.5

because racebike!

JK. Besides that, you would have to change it out next year when they go to 17" rims to keep racebike status.
