Here's a little temp Guage I've used on my other bikes that's worked well for me.
Just velcro'd to the top of the steering stem and ran the probe behind the TFT screen. At first ran the probe down inside the stem, but it was reading cooler. Once moving it might level out, though.
Bought the Guage off Amazon, twin pack for $10 or so.

Nifty

The CB1000R NSC dash with the weather report from RoadSync does it.
Even warns you when it's raining.

More better info on a motorcycle.
The problem with the weather app is that you have to have good cell service for it to work. Where I ride, there is often no service at all, or very weak and it won't give me any weather info. If you ride in the city though, I bet it works just fine.
