Ha ha, yeah, you sure can. Oddly it seems you can do it when you're a bit too hard on the rear brake as well.

The guys I was out with at the time thought I'd spun the rear up. Amusingly I had got the bike up on the rear wheel by accident earlier too, which apparently looked cool. I say anyone who says that you can't wheelie a Hornet hasn't ridden a Hornet :D

I'm trying to work this out. Either you think that I'll be so desperate to get my hands on a CB soon that I'll accept an ABS model, or you think I can't handle the brakes so I need one. Am I close? :beer

Erm no... the on off nature of ABS would must likely not fully lock, so rather than a torn effect (as above)... your tyre would suffer from a nappy rash like marking :lol

hehe... you analyse things too much. :twofin

But seeing as you.... you are desperate and are two heavy handed (allegedly) :lol

I just stamped on the rear brake as I pulled up. Unfortunately I hadn't noticed that the tarmac was like a cheese grater where I did it. I still say oops :D
