A party... something to do with the mums down the school where my kids go.... a club that one them is a member of... been for the last few years... it's OK... a Pi$$up and better than going braindead indoors.

I shall spend the day going through my vast collection of many leather bound books. On completing this task I will arrange my memoirs of the outgoing year into a format that my publisher deems necessary.

S short walk through the ornamental gardens will bring me to the folly. I may sit for a while in contemplative meditation whilst indulging in a nip of the Scottish medication.

Then onwards and upwards (chef is preparing roast Goose again..... groan).

A post-prandial in the drawing room with some fine acquaintences. The perfect New Years Day.










Oh.... sorry.....? Did you say New Years Eve........?










A 3 litre bottle of White Lightning & a dodgy kebab, same as any other Monday night!

Shameless promotion JJON! Can't imagine many being in any fit state. Can just imagine loads of people up and down the country all trying to figure out why the bike's revving but it's not moving forwards. (Wake up and put it in gear!)

TBH mate, given the choice of getting pissed or going out on the bike on a nice dry winter day with empty roads, the bike wins everytime. Could do both but find they don't mix very well

We are going to my sisters for the night.. coming home New Years Day. First time I'll have seen her at this time of year for many many years.. Going to be great and kids can't wait.
