Hi Just joined, this is the first owners club I have been involved in, 56 years old now and been riding since i was 16 so you would think I should now better by now, however I cannot wait until the 1000 r demo arrives in the show room so i can book a six month test drive, If it goes anything like it looks then we should be in for a treat
If any of you guys have any interesting stuff like photo,s or any low down relating to this bike I would be gratefull.

Will have to be content at present slavering over my new screen saver which is a picture of the Honda before any smart ---- gets in first.

As far as I am concerned age has no bearing on having fun...and I think the CB1000R will be a laugh a minute!

by the way... what do you ride currently (or have in the past)..... 40 years of riding must equate to quite a few different bikes.

Hi Neil,

I see your from aberdoom as well.....

Not sure if you have spoken to the guys at mcgowans/ecosse but they have ordered 5 bikes in, which will be with them end of june / July.
They are not 100 percent sure if he is going to get 5 though. so better get your name down for that test drive
