New Battery

495 Views 11 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  Elevenjack
Due to my bike having hot start issues I decided it was time to get a new battery. I Was looking to buy a new Yuasa but at around £90 seemed expensive so i shopped around and found a make called Fulbat FTZ10s GEL with same 190cc and size from Tayna Batteries. It has good reviews and so far is working fine (no hot starts) so at £40 inc delivery was a bargain. Time will tell. Anyone else fitted one?

Hi all, it would be nice to get some collaboration
Somethings you should not compromise quality vs money, You can be lucky sometimes & not have any issues, but most often the %age of getting screwed is greater. Most people only learn it the hard way.

Motorcycle battery is no different than buying batteries like Duracell, Eveready, Exide. Panasonic & other brands for home use. They all have a variance in constant power delivery, drain & period of usage.

I wouldn't normally compromise quality vs money but it seems worth trying. I previously had a yuasa and although it was always on a tender it didn't last two years. I appreciate your comments but sometimes why buy a Rolls Royce when a Mini will do. Anyway, I will test it out and let you all know how it goes.

doesn't look terrible 😁
I've found NOCO batteries to be very good batteries. I opted for one of these for my Harley and haven't regretted it. When it's time for a battery in the CB, It'll be a NOCO.
