Wow, anyone who thinks that these brochures are worth even pennies are clearly morons. Go to your local dealer and pick one up for free, or phone them and ask them to send you one and they will do so for free. As you rightly say Dan, we have the official .PDF available to download (albeit in a slightly lower resolution) and it's also 90% identical to the eBrochure available from the Honda website (without the fancy animations of course). Personally I've had mine for a couple of months now from my local dealer (Pidcock Honda)

What idiot would actually think that these things are worth anything at all to anyone, I mean, seriously, what idiot?

Q: Hi, Thank you for your observations, it is true to a certain extent for UK current models, but you have to consider that quite often manufacturers dont mail UK model brochures outside the UK, I do sell quite a few outside of Europe. Also brochures can soon become unavailable, as they have a limited dealer life, you wont be able to get a 2006 model brochure from Hondas website, and if youve just bought a 2006 Honda and require a brochure, where do you go??

and my reply...

Yes fair enough... I don't blame you for selling them if you have potential buyers.... just surprised there is much of a market for them really... I'm also surprised the manufacturers haven't stepped in to try to stop you selling their intellectual copyright.

Good luck with the sales...

I must admit it surprised me too when I first noticed them on Ebay, especially when some sellers price them for around £3or4. I suppose the manufacturers must view it as garnering interest in their product, which is the main purpose of their producing the brochures in the first place. It can be frustrating at times though when you have to relist the same brochure over and over to try and sell it. Also the brochures that do sell for more money, ie Porsche, Bugatti, Lotus etc you cant obtain from their website (I have tried !!!!) Thanks for messaging me, all the best.

Hey, look what I've got through the door this morning. I've now got two of these amazing CB1000R brochures. I'll give one away to the first person who can give me a good reason why anyone would charge for the fooking things at the Notts meet in April :lol

Wow... you must be something special to have those... after all they are rarer than rocking horse s**t - you must have some special contacts within Honda ;) :lol

....this is one example when it's not who you know that counts..... it's what you know. :thumbup
