Have a 2022 black and a 20.

For the twenty, I've added Mc Cruise, oem quick shift and blipper and heated grips.

Completely unacceptable that Honda doesn't equip this bike with cruise standard.

4300 kms and changed the oil 3X already!

thought so. just so you're aware, there is a small chance of losing the upper cover - not limited to the CB1000R, but endemic to Honda heated grips. see:


the cover is held in place by a couple very small tabs. think about securing it with a couple small dabs of epoxy or crazy glue...

of course they are out of stock due to chip shortage....... :p i should have bought years ago....

Have you considered retrofitting a switch block with cruise already integrated?
Switch block by itself would be useless without the programming.

As you can see from the pic, I chose the new slim switch gear and installed it right beside the block. I think it looks almost OEM.

Hopefully Honda adds it to future 1000r's and makes it retrofittable.
