Nice pics mate, those bars look rather Renthal-like instead of the usual you'd expect from Honda.

That's IT alright.... and in a different colour... so maybe there are at least two IT's or did they spray the green IT? :notme

Anyway I think it looks awesome... some nice angles in those pics that we haven't seen yet :thumbup

That's what I was wondering, and I've got to admit that I really like it in that colour too... maybe a black one was a bad choice? Hmm...

And the price on there... closest we've seen to any real confirmation of the price. €10,190 is £7,657.68 by current exchange rates so the £7500 price seems more likely than the £7000 price tag. And €600 (£450.86) extra for ABS sounds about the £500 I've heard thrown about.

What does Leverbaar and Disponible mean? :notme I worked out Leverbaar to mean "deliverable" so is that like "on the road"? If so then the €10,790 price is the actual price which is £8,106.50 at the moment :banghead

According to the sign, It says, “ available midyear 2008”

The 10,190.00-euro on the road price, given the current "crap" exchange rate, places it near Fireblade territory. As the bike is manufactured in Italy where the Euro is the currency, I fear the exchange rate will have a significant impact on the price we end up paying here. Lets all hope the pound makes some gains on the euro in the coming weeks.

I couldn’t help but notice the heavy and unattractive security barrier around the bike. Apparently Honda are fearful of it or bits of it being nicked.

I'm not sure I'd worry too much about the Euro / £ rate. Honda can't afford to overpitch the price and might take a hit on it until the rates come back. They certainly can't afford to be much above the Z1000, (which I think it looks like), and the Fazer and definately not in the same bracket as the Blade, the latest incarnation of which is the most expensive of the big Jap sports bikes. My money would be on around the £7k mark. :thumbup

Looks good though boys and girls :thumbup :thumbup :thumbup

As Jerry says... it needs to be and I think it will be... priced between £7-7500.... anymore and it will be doomed...

Even though the list price of the Z1000 and FZ1 maybe around this price there are lots of deals to be done that make the bike more attract financially..... and a grand here or there buys a lot of trick bits.

Not nearly as much as the tax laws here on treasure island.
