I'm intrigued how much people are paying for insurance on the CB1000R. Found out it's in Group 15, one more than my GSX1400 but being an old git my premium is quite low, just gone up £32 to £180pa fully comp with 8 years protected NCD. I'm sure I read somewhere that someone is only paying £120 with Bennetts, was that fully comp?
I use a broker called AQuote and the insurer is Norwich Union. I do tend to shop around every year and find better quotes from other insurers every time I come to renew.
Wonder how this compares to the rest of Europe too?

Roll on tomorrow, pick the bike up at 12. :thumbup :D :lick

I can't comment on the insurance for the CB1000r however when I enquired about fully comp. here for my Hornet 900 I was quoted more than 800€!! I'm an old git too (50 next week athough I still look GORGEOUS!! ;) ) Been insured with the same company (my bank) for years both car and 'bike without a claim but made no difference. :thumbdown

My insurance is just over £500 FC, but I'm 29, only been riding for a couple of years, and I had a £1700 claim on a Hornet a year and a half ago.
