Bloke at work, we'll call him Work A, telling us about some strange happenings in his house. Other bloke, call him Work 2, I would normally suspect of being in the 'Don't be daft, ghost stories' as it's in his nature, but he's actually very open minded about it due to something he believes he saw one night on a beech. Me, don't really believe but also can't dismiss it, too many tales heard.

Anyway, Work 1 says his missus has seen black shadows around the house, as well as orbs. They take this in their stride, his missus isn't at all bothered by this sort of thing and claims to have seen similar in their last home. As the conversation progresses, Work 2 says 'Don't tell me, you've noticed odd smells around the house as well'. (Apparantly, this is quite common among these type of stories?).

Work 1 then goes on to explain that a certain part of the house gives off a sort of sulphuric small, but only occassionally. However, he has noticed the same smell above the pillow of his 4 year old daughter :eek . Every night at exactly 1.30am the child leaves her bed and gets in with her parents, could just be coincidence.

Last night, while Work 1 was on the phone to his missus, his 4 year old ran into the kitchen and hid. The wife asked her what was wrong, she said she's seen something walking around the living room, and went on to describe black shadows :eek The wife had also seen them, but his was the first time the child had.

His 4 year old has a friend. Not a real friend though, a friend that no one else can see. If she does something naughty, she blames the friend. The friend's name is Codey Calder. The 4 year old cannot yet read, and a google search gives no childrens characters with this name. None of her friends are called Codey, and the parents have not got a clue where she has got the name from. :stop

At this point, fair to say I'd be out the door, but they don't want to move. Would you? This isn't a wind up, last night he was genuinely concerned after seeing the reactions of his work colleagues.

Would this sort of thing put the bajeepers up you, or would you look for a more rational explanation?

Now THAT is freaky, I see black shadows too, I thought it was just me!

Seriously though dude, I'm not a believer. If I was then how could I comfortably watch porn knowing that my deceased grandparents are probably watching me from on high tutting away?
