How can this exhaust header be cleaned ?

I got some Autosol polish, and as you can see before and after, makes it shiny, but doesnt remove those dark spots. Not a biggie, but wondering if there is an easy way to get rid of these spots ? and what caused them ?

It's caused by water when the exhaust is hot. You could try this:

You may need to apply the polish with fine steel wool. That's how I get heat stains off the titanium muffler on my SC77 SP

I also use very fine wire wool and Autosol with good results.
