eztuper...i know what ABS and combined brakes do (i am oficialy a Honda mecanic). I had the oportunity to test CB 1000 R and CBR 1000 RR and VFR 1200 F with ABS. Only on CBR and VFR the ABS works like i would accept it. it kicks in realy only then when things get rough. On CB howewer the ABS doesnt alow me to take the curwe "Rossi style" cause it begins to interfere with my braking into the apex of the curwe. That is why i wanted non ABS version :D .
dave h...not realy... Akrapovi? is here at the same price as it is ower there (maybe few cents less) because you can only buy it thru dealers :( .
I am curently messuring and preparing to build my own "endpipe" to look like Taylormade. till the winter comes it will be tested and ower winter time i can get it homologated (cost 97 euro in Slowenia).
This is the style that i like the most.
First the "sound tuning" must be done and then the pipe cover wich will be powder coated (my friend has o powder coating company).

I will certanly go slow with the exhaust...i want it to be perfect.
The cat will stay on the bike as it is needed with the stock maping. The cat chamber is a reflexion chamber and works with the downpipes and the ECU maping is "written" exactly to this configuration. The O2 sensor or lamda probe can adjust the fuelling in a narow band and this adjustment is not suficient if you do a decat mod.
Downpipes are pretty perfect configurated the way they are for the purpose of the bike and work exeptionaly well with cams that are in our engines. So a will seek for perfect sound and not maximum power. We had a Mivv Suono on our test bike and it sounds great but i dont like the look of the bike with end can by the side of the wheel.
Ower winter i would like to get a gear indicator in blue to match the dashboard. Then i will have to fabricate a cowl ower the stock cowl (the mid part) to house the gear indicator. Thank god i have friend who "play" with fiberglass and other stuff to help me with this.
As for the exhaust...one friend has a metal fabrication at home so TIG welding (finishing) will be done at his workshop. Although the cower will hide the exhaust i want it to be fabricated as if it were build by Honda.
