Hello all, just joined as I've been told your a good bunch and always up for a laugh and a ride. I'm based just north of Nottingham in Ravenshead and currently ride a black 900 Hornet.

Hi Monster! I live in Mansfield and organise the occasional ride that meets at the Hutt. The last one was a washout but we made up for it last Saturday. Would be great to have someone new to come along too.

What they're referring to is my brightly coloured Hornet:

You'll often see me in your neck of the woods too as I often ride through Papplewick and Linby on the way to work on Sherwood Park.

Was good to meet you today Ian, bit of a surprise, but pretty good all the same. Nice bike too! :thumbup

While I was following you through Papplewick on the way back to Ravenshead I had a disconcerting moment where my rear tyre decided it didn't want to go around that left hander. Crapped myself a little, but the tyre soon gripped back and on we went. Gutted I didn't have time to pass that car through the twisty bits too though.

Hopefully see you on some local rides soon

I was watching you as you went into that corner actually; I hate it because of the manhole cover on the left, it makes it awkward to set the corner up, you either go over the cover and unsettle the bike, or go to the right of it and end up too close to the middle of the road. No oncoming traffic I guess so no harm :lol

Still impressed with the deal on those tyres, though I doubt I'd get any. I think BT016s next time around :thumbup
