Hello everyone,
As you can see from the list of my previously owned bikes I had a new Hornet 600 -07 as my last bike...sold it yesterday...
As far as the CB1000RA I ordered one here in Sweden in February, long before either the price or performance figures were official. But I guess that's the way I function....can't help it...
Anyway, Honda MC of Sweden will offer the first 20 buyers in Sweden a free flight to Rome, hotel, meal and bus the following day to pick up your new CB1000RA at the factory, plus a tour of the factory.
As I was probably the first one to place an order for this bike in Sweden, my ticket is secured....
And yes, even if I don't actually have the bike in my garage yet, one could in a sense say that I already own it since I already paid my retailer the entire purchase price.
I am not too worried about the power figure not being higher than 125HP - my retailer told me the official power figure is "held back a bit" just as is the case with the "Audi RS6 V10"....
I hope to see a lots of posts at this forum regarding possible modifications to the bike!
DynoJet already launched a Power Commander for the bike:

OK...??! Lot's of luck to all of us new CB1000R -08/9 owners!
