I heard about this the other day. How do you accidentally modify your crank beyond the regulations? Seriously?

Congrats to Chaz anyway, even second was an achievement, and nobody likes to win by someone being disqualified, but if Hayes had an advantage that the rules don't allow then fair's fair.
