Yeah, but when you have the issue on the same day the bike is uncrated, and it goes away over time, how would you explain it? I got several false neutrals only from 5th into 6th. The bike hit 600 miles last Friday. I'm far from being a noob. These are the brand new bikes I've purchased just since 2009 alone:

2009 CBR600RR ABS
2009 CBR1000RR ABS
2010 CBR1000RR
2012 CBR1000RR
2014 CB500F
2014 CB1000R
2017 CBR1000S1
2019 CB1000R

Only the 2019 had this issue and I don't recall folks on corresponding forums with the same shifting complaint.
You're getting better at changing gear. Muscle memory is starting to kick in.-- Took me a while on my CB but in the end I reckon I could virtually match any quick-shifter with a super fast, noiseless gear change.--------( Bit like my one finger typing. I seem to be getting super fast though when I first start often I couldn't find the letters I wanted. )--As they say---Practice makes perfect----(y)

:ROFLMAO:
After decades of riding street, track days, too many miles to count on bikes I've not even listed, I've finally learned how to properly shift from 5th to 6th on a 2019 CB1000R. Pretty amazing I didn't have any issues clutchless upshifting in any gear on other bikes or even on a 2005 XL1200C :ROFLMAO:

FYI, In Houston, Texas riding season is 365 days out of the year.

I don't think it's the shifter, it may be a case of the slots and dogs having to be worn in. When my tech installed my QS, he would have remarked if the OEM shifter was not aligned properly.
Yeah I don't really know, but I noticed a remarkable improvement after fitting the quick shifter. It went from missing a shift (especially 3rd to 4th) at least once or twice a month to missing one shift in 2 years after fitting the quick shifter.

False neutrality appeared during my ride on the CB600F 2007, VFR800X 2015 and now also on the CB1000R 2019, where the QS is mounted.
I arrived home in third gear yesterday because I can't shift into a higher gear. A higher gear cannot be engaged via the QS or clutch. A lower gear can be engaged without any problems. However, the clutch works so you can stop and leave again.
