Hi I'm another newbie to this site, currently own an '07 CBF thou crcking bike but a bit bland on the styling and as you will probably guess by the user name have pre owned a CBR6 well five of them actually!!!! I also have a grey import Hinda SL230 traillie (work transport). Live in the frozen NE of England.

Really looking forward to seeing the CB1000R in the flesh as I want one!!!!!

Hi mate... good to have you onboard too....

I know what you mean about the CBF1000... never ridden one but for me the looks just let it down... still it seems to be a seriously practical bike and for touring, long distance commutes etc. I am sure it is ace...

After owning a 900 Hornet for a number of years and then a VFR I wanted something more agressive.... with nothing on the horizon from Honda I settled on a FZ1-N.... it's a nutcase bike, I love it too... but I can't wait to try the CB1000R to compare.... I like just about everything I have seen so far.

We are hoping to be one of the first to get our hands on a demo... via Doble motorcycles so if you local you'd be more than welcome to join us mate. :thumbup
