Hello from Tucson, AZ!
I purchased my 2023 CB1000R a week ago, today. I picked it up in Phoenix and rode it home to Tucson. That was my first time riding a sport bike. The closest I've come to a sport bike was my ST1300, which was my motivation for getting the CB1000R. I wanted the performance again, but, without the 700 plus pounds! What a great bike the CB1000R is. So much power and so easy to ride. I love it.

My other bike is a 2013 Harley Ultra Limited. I love that bike, too. I look forward to experiencing the night and day differences between the bikes and the two different riding styles they require.

I haven't been able to find CB1000R specific forums so I was elated to stumble across this one!

At one time I had a 2012 CBR1000RR and a 2005 XL1200C with feet forward controls, Stage 2 kit, and Vance & Hines shorty exhaust. Night and day for sure.

Welcome elevenjack, the cb doesn't seem to get a lot of love online, but those who have one and have actually put some miles on it know it's a fantastic bike. Enjoy and welcome.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover how easy the CB is to ride coming from a big cruiser. A different ride to be sure, but, so easy. I will ease into the drastically different power levels of the CB and enjoy every minute of it!
