Mine just arrived in the mail today and it is one of the best quality service manuals that I have seen in a long time (and very reasonably priced).
Mine is in the FedEx truck ... somewhere ... bouncing around ... waiting to be delivered to me.:ROFLMAO:

It’s here !
So I removed the air filter for the first time today. PIA.
First I removed the aluminum side panels.
Then removed the end pieces on both sides of the airbox.
Removed both air intake tubes.
Then unscrewed the filter housing from the airbox.
Then slowly pulled the air filter housing to the kick stand side. So many wires to navigate to get it out. It was a long process.

Does the Shop Manual offer different directions for removing the filter housing?
