Guess you're SOL.

Had to shoehorn, hammer and chisel the APK in my not so smart phone.
I get weather, text, calls, music and volume.
No nav on the dash.
Works on the phone and records trips.

Tried with the Android 11 SamStone 21, up to date download.
Same song: GMap navs on the phone, not on the bike.

Mebbe Gmap, or the phone need all permissions clicked, or an updated Gmap
or the RoadSync app is gunk when trying nav on dash.

Moot point I'm a Garmin fiend.

I'm not familiar with the newer motorcycle with the nav. But my guess is it's an Android setting or Samsung setting. Samsung sometimes does stuff a little different than stock android. If you could try another phone to rule out the bikes software that could be helpful. Does it plug in with USB to the bike? Maybe create an account in the xda forums and jump on your phones forum. Those guys are very bright and usually helpful. Good luck. Sucks when something new doesn't work. If it's USB driven sometimes android will have a notification that asks if you wanna allow permission or what type of connection you would like to use.

CB1000R USB is USB-C to USB-C
Per manual:
This socket is for battery charge only. Use USB devices at your own risk.

No joy trying to nav with RoadSync this way.

The dash does BT and all the RoadSync bells & whistles work.
Nav operates on the phone, any phone, it's Gmap after all,
but throws an error on the app dash window.

The RTFM and klutz jailbreaker parade at XDA would surely help.

But the ROI for snooping around what's stuck in the BT connection
between Gmap and CB1000R dash is borderline minuscule.

RoadSync nav is friendly enough it just picks his friends.
Late issue Samsung or older Android 9 LG phone aren't.

I'm having the same problem with my Black Edition. I programmed a favourite place into the app but when I try to use it,
it comes up with 'loading error' If I take my phone out whilst doing that there's a warning on the screen and if I accept it the Sat Nav will load up. Kinda defeats the object, not going to stop to get my phone out of my pocket 🙄 I've got a not so swanky OnePlus 8pro, thought it may be my shite phone but obviously not 🤦🏼‍♀️

Or RoadSync sucks.
Probably written by hacks coding with all the brains of a turnip, two left feet and 10 big toes.

With generic Android Auto, the one you get on 4 wheels Hondas,
one can use his preferred sat nav on almost any Android phone.

Gmap isn't a friend of mine either.

More an OSM kind of user.
