2011 Honda CB1000R Extreme ABS - £5500 ono
First MOT due in May 2014, tax till end May 2014
13000 miles, may increase slightly.

Bike is in Aberdeen, may travel for serious parties.

Yoshi exhaust seen in picture will be removed and standard exhaust & cat refitted. Power commander has always been fitted since standard exhaust removed so no worries about having been run lean.

Mods to be sold fitted to bike are: tail tidy, small reg plate, GiPro gear indicator, +1 tooth Renthal rear sprocket, Pazzo levers. Rubber tank pad will be re-fitted with correct adhesive tapes.

Bike was serviced by Ecosse in Aberdeen until 8000 mile service at 7400miles. I've since serviced it at approx 3000 mile intervals.

New chain and sprocket fitted 1000 miles ago.

New front discs and pads fitted 4000 miles ago.

New Pirelli Angel GT tyres fitted approx 500 miles ago.

PM or email [email protected] for more info. No test rides unless I have full asking price in my hand in cash.

What are you thinking of getting to replace it? Looking at MCN classifieds it may still be a bit strong

price wise with that mileage for a private sale. I can't believe how little money these are going for,

Looks like I'll have to delve deep into the piggy bank when I change!!!!!

1290 SD :D Should have it by Xmas.

Yeah the ebay add has a reserve at about 5200, I've been offered 5k by the dealer I originally bought it from, so they'll get it if no-one wants to pay more. I always price things high on early adverts / buy it now, just in case someone feels like buying with their heart rather than their head!

Cheers Sov, just need someone to buy it now. Fancy another? ;)

On ebay too: 2011 HONDA CB 1000 RA Extreme Tricolor | eBay
....I just wish stuff like this was around when I was looking ! the crazy thing with bike sales is everyone expects them to have no more than 5-6k on the clock - even those from 2008!

From what I'd seen when I shopped around about 12 months ago and in the last year, private sales are between £5-6k for the older models (08-09), with the shabbier stuff going for high 4s.

It is a really bad time to sell (Winter coming and Crimbo looming). I found spring better, but only if the weather is good - this year the rubbish Mar-May killed early year prices ( but you have to factor in garage space, tax and insurance running costs !).

I've put 6k on mine this year and plan at least the same next year (most likely 8k) which will put the bike on 16k - can't see the point in spending all that money and having the bike languishing in the shed !

As Bobsta Suggests though. Might be worth taking a knock on the top price for a quick sale but I would expect you to get a solid 5.5k?

Good Luck !

Agree with above, i am having my bike picked up on Tuesday ( just sold my mint 954), so i will be in the unusual position of looking to buy over winter, the only issue with this can be that a lot of people think no one will be looking so don't put their machines on the market ! So the available pool of bikes is slim, which means it may be better to wait until March !!!! Crazy.

Cheers for the kind words chaps.

5.5k is a little less than I'd pay for the bike, so I'd be happy with that. 4300 miles/year isn't too bad either - she may only be 2.5 years old but that's three summers of out every time I get a chance! Not a penny spared on maintenance either so no worries there.

Hudson if you're interested drop me a PM ;)
