It is quite literally my back yard. I ride the loop Mount Hamilton, Mines Road, Livermore, San Jose regularly. How far away do you live?

Some photos to show just how good the SW Motech Drybag 700 (70 litre capacity) is on the NSC

I rode to the bottom of Spain and back with this and a small tank bag.

Design of this bag gives far greater safety, and therefore peace of mind, over any other roll type bag on the market, as it sits, pannier style, either side of the bike.
Means you don't have to worry about it sliding sideways, and then into your back wheel, without you noticing as you ride along.

    Wow!
70 ltrs??? That's SOME bag you have there.
I usually manage with 25 ltrs for about 10-14 days.
    That excludes camping gear though.
These days, I tend not to camp.
    I like a comfy bed...lol

I'm in Belmont, so it's a decent ride just getting out there.

I didn't camp on my Spanish trip.

    Nice hotels throughout.

Took far too much luggage and didn't wear most of what I took.
I guess the problem with a large bag is that you just end up filling it.

The size of the bag did get commented on a few times when we pulled up somewhere and met other British bikers.

Such a great fit on the bike, as you can see, and easily removed / put back on in fewer than 10 seconds.

You could fit an awful lot of things in there.

Greatest thing about the bag is that it enables me to use the NSC as a serious tourer.

I get to have the bike I want and still be able to enjoy long distance holidays on it, despite it not being a tourer or adventure bike.
