I see their site doesn't have a section for the 2018 model. Can you link which parts you ordered?

Now that's ten times better than the OE part.---

So this is what I did: I ordered Kawasaki Ninja 400 fender eliminator...Elite 1 ADJUSTABLE (smallest thing I could find) comes with close out but obviously doesn't fit my bike.

    Ordered LED low profile light.

Due to the CB's under tail being round I had to grind the bits down. I used a bench grinder, cause it has a round wheel. I sanded the bits at an angle and made small grove as well.

I also added some rubber backing to the ends, where the bits meet the under tail. I glued them to the metal then trimmed them with a knife.

Next, installed the led light. I bought a 5/16 grommet from home depot.

I have three small holes in the under tail that can easily be plugged up with any OEM plugs from Honda if need be.

I found this to be very clean, minimal design...no clutter. If something really nice ever comes out, i could always remove it and replace it. Based on most designs out there the holes would probably be covered.

Thank you. For some reason the bike feels a lot more nibble. 😁

Any reinforcing on the other side of the plastic (inside the tail)?

    Like taking small bites?

Looks great....nimble?.....yeah agree, dropping that oe plateholder dumps about 2kg+ of sprung weight off the back. That's GOT to make a difference.

haha...small bits! how about anodized thingy's.

sorry for the dyslexia, I'm typing quickly.

    feels more balanced.

no need for backing. i used 2 rubber plumbing washers that have existing holes, and sliced them on a slight angle.
