    Ride Mode Observations

Hey all, just wanted to post some personal observations on Sport, Standard and my User mode after about 300miles of seat time.

Like several who have already noted, there seems to be a distinctive flat spot between 4K and 6K which is most noticeable in Sport mode in my bikes case. I don't notice it in Standard nor in the User mode I settled on. Was curious if others have seen similar behavior between modes. It pulls much more smoothly from 4K in Standard and my User mode. There is a definite flat spot until it hits 7K and then it pulls like a train.

Here are a couple of pics one in Sport and the other in User. The only difference is in the engine brake setting.

Anyways just my thoughts. I've observed this on 2 seperate rides on the same road.

Are you suggesting there might be issues specifically with SPORT mode? Have you tried USER mode with the same settings as SPORTS by any chance to see if the flat spot between 4K and 6K feels the same?

I was looking at the Akrapovic website today, specifically the optional headers and slip-on dyno graphs. There is a very noticeable dip alright.

and, does it do it with traction fully off.. or is part of the dip due to traction kicking in?

I believe you can only turn off traction control in user mode?

Will try your suggestion as well with sport settings under user mode.
Would be nice to see dyno runs with the different modes.
