    Its still looking well. Ill have to keep an eye out for leaking forks. No signs yet after 35k miles and 7 years

    Thanks for the info Colvert, I have ordered one today so will see how it goes in a couple of weeks. It is just a bit odd that new seals and bushes in my SP2, fitted by the same people have been fine but not so lucky with the CB.

    Mind you I haven't factored in the Devon sea air!

    The forks on my BMW K series leaked continually.

    I slid the plastic shrouds / caps off them, packed a load of sponge around the top and then put the shrouds back in place.

    The sponge did a good enough job of soaking up the leaking fork fluid the bike passed it's MOT.

    Tester obviously didn't pull the caps off to have a look as I thought he might

    I might try some bathroom silicone in mine. Can't get any worse and might cure the leak.-----
