Yeah avoid bike with c-abs coz they sucks.....
But we are talking about cb1000r not cbr1000 rr , bet they do not even know the main differences.

Journalist aka "wrote about stuff presuming to know about it"

I guess the C-Abs system sucks until a rider (who is not a Moto Gp equipped individual) grabs a handful in a panic and folds the bike.We can all talk about how to not fold the front end when someone/something suddenly is in front of us but that is sat at home with a brew and a cookie, things can be somewhat different when on the road and your not a 15,000 mile a year courier or similar. The bike reviewers ride bikes constantly but most of the public who own them do not and for us the electronic safety features (just like cars have and are expected to have) can be of real benefit when the worst happens. They have forgot who rides them and how often they ride them.

It’ll all be ancient history when the 2018 model arrives - and they realise that at £12k it’s not £6k better than a fairly low mileage Mk 1 !!! But they’ll be blinded by the bling no doubt !

Agree to the above, new bike prices seem to be going only one way and to be honest i don't see how they are value for money but time will tell, at least with the silly prices of new metal the used prices of low mile/decent condition bikes is staying solid.

what he means when saying no soul? give me a break! cb1r is a great choice, and everyone knows it... even when it first came out,it has honda reliability within great appearance and even power is there in every rpm! how about all the other bikes of the test? how many problems have they had after 10 years of riding? or are they the greatest riders of all so 10 more horsepower is needed so they reach their limits?
CB1R it is a great reliable motorcycle with good suspension , great brakes and it wont let you down no matter what!
OK europian bikes have great suspension,so what? there are europian motorcycles that you cant wash them with high pressure of water cause it wont turn on after that!(in some aprilias it say it on the manual as well).
what about FZ1? over half of them have defective stators which get destroyed and pieces of them get in the engine!
lets see how many motorcycles of them will reach 100k kilometers...

What the hell is "soul" anyways?

    Hippity dippity bullshit, that's what.

I think soul is bad fuelling, no bottom end and an inherent need for a steering damper to avoid death.
