My aplogies - only the other day I was reading a post from somebody who had managed to remove his tank badges - now I cant find it.
Thanks to whoever it was that told me how to do it.
I wanted to remove mine because they were positioned in a place that made the tank look even wider - and they stuck out.
The little hole on the bottom of the badge does allow you to put a screwdriver in the hole and use it to start pulling the badge off.
Once a small gap had started to open up, my wife directed her heat gun into the gap and I pushed a sharpened credit card into the gap to try and cut through the adhesive.
Its is very strong adhesive, but with perseverance it came off after about 10 minutes - then another 10 minutes to clean off the remaining adhesive.
I think it enhances the style of the tank a lot. I have enclosed a couple of photos.
