    Undertray

    Hi! all,
was just wondering if anyone out there had fitted an after market undertray. I had a R & G Tail Tidy fitted from new, and have now fitted a Rossocromo Hugger. This doesn't however stop all the crap spraying up inder the undertray, No. Plate and rear light. I had intended to fit a Honda undertray, but apparently they have a U shaped cutout that goes around the standard No. Plate holder. Would be grateful for any advise if there is anyone out there that has solved this problem.

Ade, I have the Honda undertray and an R&G tail tidy. There is a small gap at the front edge of the tail tidy, but nothing worth worrying about.
However, I'm not sure what your point is here. The undertray will just get covered in crap as your current one does!

Yeah but it is easier to clean than the standard Honda area with all its holes and recesses.

My point exactly. Trying to clean out all those small holes is a nightmare. I know I can't stop all the crap getting sprayed up, I just want to be able to clean it off easier. I've looked at a picture of the undertray and there is quite a big resess cut out of the end nearest the No. Plate. Not sure if this allows access to any holes or not.

It certainly makes it easier to clean, and I haven't noticed a gap around the tail tidy. There's a photo on the site somewhere of the undertray with the original numberplate holder. I'll try and take a photo of it tomorrow (too dark out now) so you can see what it looks like.

I fitted the Honda undertray, I think it looks good, but it is a whole lot easier when it comes to cleaning,,,, as said all those nooks and crannies are very time consuming. Just be careful to rinse it off first, if you scrub away at it, the plastic will scratch! I'm very happy with it.

Tried to get some photos of the undertray/R&G combo, but they're not great, only one is worth posting. It does show there is a bit of a gap at the front edge of the tail tidy, but the rest fits with the undertray quite nicely.

Thats great guys thanks very much. That looks a lot easier to clean. I spoke to Dobles and it was them that told me about the cut out for the rear mudguard/No. Plate holder. I can see now, that it's fine with the R&G Tail Tidy that I've fitted. Dobles seemed to think that it wouldn't fit properly.
    Cheers

Sorry, I should have said that I have the R&G tidy, and it fitted ok, its tight mind, but with a bit of patience it goes on and IMO looks good.
