    OEM shock Technical question--Help PLEASE

I am looking for information to allow conversion of an aftermarket shock to fit my bike.

I NEED the length of the STOCK OEM shock from EYELET to EYELET..

Does someone perhaps have an OEM in storage after a swap out they could kindly measure for me.

THANK YOU in advance for the help.

    Regards

    Rick

I responded to a guy on Facebook with all my caliper measurements. Let me dig that up for you.

Top bushing: 28mm width (12mm OD, 10mm ID)
Bottom bushing: 39mm width (12mm OD, 10mm ID)

    Eye-to-eye length is 308mm

EDIT: I installed an Ohlins HO808 on my CB. Ohlins lists the HO808 shock at 309.5mm and that was with the swingarm almost completely fully extended so I think that's about your length limit... if I remember correctly)

Glad to help! What kind of shock are you planning to fit? I looked around and couldn't find much out there

Will be using a Penske Twin Clicker that will be assembled with the correct components.

Needed specs to allow "builder" to source the correct length dampner rod and eyelet.

    Thank you again
