Looking for better mirrors for my CB1R

    Hello fellow riders...
My name is Klaus, i live in jupiter, florida and I love my CB1000R. As many of you already know, the stock mirrors are a pain in the ... well, I just want better ones. So far I have not found mirrors that look good and that show me more than my elbows. I also do not like mirrors on the end of the handlebars but am willing to hear your thoughts. Hoping for sleek mirrors that are positioned better for viewing what is behind me (even if it is getting further and further away)

So far I have removed the cat and have a mid pipe with IXIL exhaust, which I love. I also have a power commander, sliders, fender extender removal. Lately I have been concentrating on my track bike (R6) which has turned into a beast. Now it is the turn for the CB1R again. I want mirrors, considering a screen of some kind although they can look goofy (but above 130 mph the wind sure picks up a bit) and some performance upgrades.

This forum is awesome and I like the passion of my fellow CB1R owners here. Would love your opinions, and if possible some pics to see what you are talking about. Tell me about your mirror upgrades and any other item you want to share.

    Thank you all,

    klaus

Funny. I also looked for new mirrors, and have tried way more than I care to admit. I finally settled on the ones in the link below because they look better than the stockers, but I have yet to find a pair that function better. If you find a pair that you like and keep, sell your stockers on ebay. Honda Grom guys are snatching our stock mirrors up to use on the Grom. As much as I hate to admit it, our stock mirrors are some of the best out there, but I get it, no one wants stock (including me).

I never liked bar ends either but the standard ones vibrated so much i couldn't even see my elbows,
I then tried tomahawk ones they were worse.
I really love my 60mm Oberon's they take a bit to set up right with them being so small but I can see so much better,
I think they look brilliant too

Thank you guys for replying to my question. I will check out the extenders and if they don't satisfy me, then the oberons will get a try. I appreciate the help...
