Bit the bullet and ordered the Akrapovic Optional Header (SS) E-H10R7. Can't wait to get the bike over to DynoJet for PC developement with the full system.
The headers make a great improvement to the overall lines and silhouette of the bike

nice looking ride Crispy. andfor riding it the way it was meant to be ridden - ain't no chicken strips on THAT sucker...
piling the mileage on...
Whilst I patiently wait for my Akrapovic headers to arrive I thought I'd add some adjustable levers:
...and some custom number board decals for the small aluminium side panels. Kept them super simple and in a style that matches the overall look of the bike:
Oh i like the number boards.
The tail tidy really makes a nice job of the 18 models. Great looking bike so far!
Finally got these little numbers through. Should help the CB1000R breath a little more freely.
Dropping the bike, stock pipes and end can and the Akrapovic system off to Dynojet on Thursday for them to do their Powercommander magic
Wow, that looks very shiny!!
Keen to hear how it changes the sound.
Are DJ doing stock, slip-on, full system?
