Dismantling Forks - replacing bottom of the forks ... HELP

    Ok Gents

    Question for professionals,

I have old forks from Bike that had ABS, I bought new ones from model without ABs . And As few bright people noted , botoms are difrent.

    My question is :

Is it possible to swap bottom of the forks ? And If yes , How and where I can do that. I wouldlike to mention that bottoms from old forks are fine . And the only reason I m thinking about swaping them are the brakes.

Assistance will be rewarded with bottle of fine : buffalo grass vodka

Yes I'm a little Polish (my maternal grandfather is from Pruszcz Gda?ski).

    hope its of some use

also , according to fellow members the caliper pins are stretch type (use once) so leave calipers on leg if you can.

I'm fairly certain that you can't separate the bottoms from the slider. The microfiches don't show the bottoms as individual items......
Be the exception, never the rule.

No, you can't. You need to replace the sliders, or do some engineering work
