    Ignition issues

just started having a problem with the ignition on my 2011, any ideas gratefully received .

Problem: Key in the barrel ok - turn on nothing off then on again all good bike starts fine, rides around ok, turn off and same happens again. Key feels a bit loose in the barrel.

Diagnosis: Maybe immobiliser issue, or possibly a loose connection in the ignition

Wondering if anyone else has had the same issue and what was the verdict.

    Cheers in advance

    I suspect the ignition switch.

    As above post.

Have you tried a drop of WD40 down the barrel of the lock?----Might be something that needs unsticking.

Many thanks for the handy suggestions. For interest of anyone else with a similar issue. It turns out that there was some gunk collected in the barrel probably from wet riding. A bit of WD40 and gentle use of the key got it out mostly and then bit of contact spray and it all seems to be back to normal
