Thank you..I ll be reading and discovering on this forum what makes this CB tick.Im not a top end guy,I like the bottom end of the motor to work it best thru the gears.I think the bikes got some great bottom end pull so far. What do you recommend to start..gearing change...airbox work...power commander...thx for your thoughts...Blair

Welcome Blair to the greatest, most helpful and nicest people forum on the planet! Great bike, and wow only a tad over 3000 miles on a 2011 and if memory serves me well they were all black that year. The black ones are the fastest and have more torque! Congratulations on a great purchase! Now shoot some pics and post. We are very nosey!

    Hi Blair
That is 3 topics that have been discussed hectic over the years.
A quick summary from my point of view: 1. Some have made the gearing lower for more acceleration and others have made the gearing higher to avoid high revs at highway speeds - I have not tried any of the two as I find the standard gearing is a good compromise. 2. Air filter and box change have no or very little effect. 3. PC with the right map gives a more even power development when changing the exhaust system.
Please have a look of other opinions - there should be plenty on these topics on the forum.

The battery on the earlier bike has on occasions proved a bit too small in capacity.---However if kept on a trickle charger it seems to keep any problems away.

I have a permanent connection to my battery with a hidden socket at the rear of the bike.

Because I have an alarm fitted there is a slow but sure power loss. It tend to plug in the trickle charger whenever I'm not using the bike. It is a good addition especially during the winter when bikes tend to get much less use.
