    Incident

Today, I parked in my usual spot today in the motorcycle parking bay outside my office. About an hour later, my colleague calls me and tells me someone has knocked over my bike!

Luckily my colleague saw the incident and i have cctv from my building security. The driver took full responsibility too.

Has anyone gone through mce unsurance before? If so, what kind of courtesy bike did they give you?

Im just furious right now. From what i can see, it looks to be all cosmetics but dont know what other damage has been caused.

    not good!!
happened to me as well but only had a minor scuff on the tail!.
might be worth costing the damage and asking them to pay up instead of going through insurance. i did just that and they paid straight away

He doesn't need your details. He's screwed and he knows it.

I agree with Panagiotis - get it costed out and go back to him with the costs first. He might just pay it out of pocket. if not, then file the police report and contact the insurance company.

Did he back into it? That always amazes me ... it's like, what did you think that black thing in your rear view mirror was?

My one and only car-to-car collision was with a taxi that was being backed out of a side street. Driver was using only his mirrors to see. He drove straight into me. Then jumped out yelling and blaming me. I was stationary. He didn't see me. Mirrors aren't worth shit when reversing.

I would just go through his insurance. When some old git knocked me off his company just rang me up and said they would collect the bike and repair it and sent me another bike to ride. I was with bennetts at the time so not sure what MCE would be like. He should have reported it to them by know and they, might just contact you hopefully. I got a Z750 to use while mine was repaired
