Fitting a new Exhaust Can? Do I need an Exhaust Gasket?

Just received a new exhaust can G&G GP style. When I remove the OEM exhaust can is there a gasket that needs to go on the new Exhaust? I looked at the manual and it shows a gasket in the OEM can. Thanks
