I've just picked up a Gee-vee from the show, first time I've used the tanklock option. As mentioned it doesn't touch the paint work and clips on real easy, has a safety strap to go round the headstock just in case. I've only bought a small 3D604 version but I didn't need much storage as I have a topbox and panniers.
I love talking about nothing. It is the only thing I know anything about.

The saddle bag and a backpack?

    Hi!
Everything looks great. I have had the Givi xs306 but I sold it a couple of years ago but now it's time to buy a new one. My question is about placing it on the passenger seat. Is it possible to wear a backpack at the same time or does the saddlebag get in the way? I have a Bobble bee rucksack for my trips and normally a dry bag at the rear but I think your set up looks awesome and perhaps works better. So, what do you think? Will it work with a backpack and the saddlebag?

    Thanks in advance.

Reason I commented was I am currently in the magnetic bag/ baglux dilemma so looking at a small unit for the tank. I do have the baglux cover but no bag so would consider other options before I splash any more cash.
IMHO, you can't beat Sw motech tank bags. You can even get them to automatically be powered when clipped onto the bike. And nothing touches the bike. There is even a sat nav holder available.
