Hi Brutus

Looks like a very good ride lots of corners, its what the CB1 is built for.
Look forward to another video when you receive your GoPro HD.

All the best from Vid in Australia ...

Thanks
Vid

Don't know what camera your using, but it seems the quality isn't that bad, it's the mount thats passing on to much vibration to the camera.

I use a DRIFT X170 camera on a RAM mount.... seems ok, but I suppose it depends on how fussy you are ?

The actual quality is better than the You tube clip.

I use a Panasonic DMC-TZ5, and you are right my mount was made of rubber tape... I choose the GoPro because it come with a lot of differant mount.

Your cam seem to be very similar to the Go Pro :)

Your editing software seems no different than Windows Movie Maker. Have you got that on your PC ?, most have.

It's just a matter of playing with the software until you get used to it...... Well that's how I did it.

As for the quality issues, I found it's much better to open your YouTube account and ask Youtube to upload it for you, rather than opening up the video, and sending it to Youtube. I don't know why though !

Good bit of footage. Any chance of taking a still shot of the camera mounted on the bike for that filming.

Gargy.

Hi Brutus, and thanks for both videos.
I agree with Gargoyle, the first camera quality was good :thumbup
but the mounting was not firm enough.

the GoPro has 2 advantages, (1) has great mounting accessories and
(2) you have a setting to reduce wind noise (set it to Lo, not Hi)
this will make audio less sensitive and will only pick up engine sound :thumbup

as for software, on my windows laptop I use Sony Vegas 8.0 and save files
in avi format, using DivX codec. However now I am using iMovie (on Macbook)
saving files in m4v format (recommended by youtube).

the road looks great! :thumbup and you handle the bike well :clap
look forward to more movies!

PS. you can use the GoPro to film under water as well :thumbup
here is an idea of how it would look like
