I see that you ride a Yamaha and the vibration through the bars is bad. I don't seem to have any trouble with the CB 1000R even though I suffer from arthritus in my fingers. Reading these posts makes me think there must be quite a variation in the behaviour of the bikes owned by the forum members posting on here. I have found even with painful fingers I can still lift the back wheel of the bike off the road with very little effort. I can feel a slight vibration through the pegs but it hardly affects the mirrors at all. The wind pressure at high speed gets a bit uncomfortable so I have adapted a screen from another bike to suit the CB. All in all the bike is a pleasure to ride fast or slow and I personnaly would recommend it to anybody looking for a very capable all rounder. :thumbup :angel COLVERT.

Where does it say YAMAHA??????? if he does then OK, but I can't find where it says so.
I ride a R1 and I don't have any vibration through the bars.
I had some on my Blade but it was very little to complain about.
You'll find that the CB has silicone inside the handle bars, may be Honda needs to add this to their next service list "Air/oil filter and SILICONE change" :taunt2

Click on roofers PROFILE !!! He replied to my post and didn't say it wasn't a Yamaha so I thought I must have got it right. His profile doesn't have a CB 1000R on it. :angel :beer COLVERT.

Since he DID have a CB1 before, I think he might have answered your post using the knowledge he had from his CB biking times :rolleyes :kiss

Vibes now gone..... :banana :banana :yay :yay

Put baffle back in, been to Squires and not a vibe in sight... Well pleased.

Was a veritable CB feast at Squires, me, two grey ones (sorry silver) and a black one. Almost as common as the Gixers and Blades there.

North Yorkshires finest were out and about there as well.

Had a great ride to Bridlington on Sunday morning. Sitting on the coast at 10am having a nice coffee.

The bike performed without a fault, roads were somewhat damp and a little slippy in parts. But it took everything in its stride.

I was accompanied by my mate who was riding a Ducati 1100S Monster, sounds awesome when under acceleration. Personally, it is not to my taste in style and design. What I found interesting that was although it went round bends well, once out of the bend it was easily caught and passed by the CB.

Whether some of that was my mate being over cautious with his £10k toy, or that the CB just has more grunt out of a bend.

Conming back there was a lot of :police about, both marked and unmarked.
