Back on a bike after 17yrs.

    Hi all.

Bike to biking after a 17yr sabbatical.

Did a back to biking course and ended it on the CB1 and the rest is as you say history.

Looking forward to picking your brains as it seems alot has changed since I last owned a bike.

Not the best picture but this is my new toy - 66 plate.

Congratulations and safe riding. I had to take a break from bikes for a while - money, children etc... but it never leaves you. Go steady for a few months mate, the bikes are faster, the roads are busier and drivers now have lots of distractions ..... in the form of cell phones .

    Hi

I have just purchased the same colour CB1000R as you (but on a 15 plate). Take it easy as the roads are now busier and the drivers more stupid :-)

Grats and welcome back to 2wheels. I quit for a little over a year and couldn't take it anymore. I'll probably ride until I can't walk anymore.

    Many thanks for the welcome.

Confidence is slowly returning, really enjoying getting used to the bike and learning what I'm capable of.

Which at the mo isn't alot.
