    New CB1000R owner

    Hi,

I actually pick her up on Saturday. A new 2016, black & red...my favorite ;-)

Last bike was an '08 CBR1000RR that was total loss when I was hit & run back in October.

    Previous Hondas...'79 CB750, '99 VFR800, '01 954, '04 CBR1000RR

Almost all healed and ready to ride again.

I'll post up pics soon...I'm already ordering new bits for her

    Cheers

It's like there's a gang of CB1000R riders in LA. Are we going to see you all doing tricks together on some YouTube video while the cops chase you?

Nice. Yeah, seems there's a lot more in SoCal than here in NorCal.

I did see one the other day, for the first time, ever. Seeing them at a dealer doesn't count. I saw a red and black one in Manteca (where I am) back before the rain started, and the red and black one that was at Tracy Motorsports (next town over) just happened to be gone... Not only did I see him, but in my neighborhood, AND, just 1 street over. I'll be on the lookout for him come spring time. I have never ever seen another CB1000R out in the wild before then.

I personally know 4 other riders with CB1000R's, though to be fair 3 of them work for Honda, too.

Here's myself, a buddy with one and a coworker (plus an FZ09 and CBR1000RR)

We know that unsold stock we have at corporate is priced at blowout lol

Honestly, most of us are enthusiasts and our price plus the features of the bike fits the bill well for a commuter.

We're all sportbike guys working 9-5 (well, 7-4) jobs and need to be relatively comfortable doing it. It's the best bike in our lineup for serious riders not looking for a dedicated back-breaking sportbike.
